Always a great way to begin a new year in Berlin is the A-Trane annual first concert. This new year Detroit Gary Wiggins presents two vocalist new and active on the jazz scene, Lucia Fodde from Italy and Sam Leigh Brown from England. Sam wrote and sang the lead on the hit pop song Hip Teens Don't wear blue jeans. Although she enjoyed success with a pop song, Sam is a superb song stylist of many different genres. Lucia can be described as a well versed and elegant jazz vocalist. With the support of a solid rhythm section and the blending of tenor and soprano Saxophone should present an evening of very fine music to start the year.
