„The Berlin-based singer, originally from Apulia, performs samba and bossa nova, old Italian songs, and jazz standards with a Latin flair. At first glance, her music evokes thoughts of sun, sand, and warm southern nights. Milton Nascimento, João Donato, and João Bosco are her inspirations, whose lyrics she translates into Italian. However, Miriam Netti does not outshine her band with her singing but integrates herself into it. Her voice is part of the group; she approaches it as a fourth instrument.
The songs would certainly resonate on a southern Italian evening, perhaps on a terrace as the crowd thins out. But they also serve as a subtle soundtrack to the twilight hours further north.“
