Rikard From played his piano and organ for as long as he can remember. It took him some time however to start wiriting music. He thinks it was after his mother passed away 2015. He really listened and started to make something out of those bits and pieces flying around his head. His first album `Piano` was released in 2017 and that`s when it all started. Since then Rikard has released both soft classical/folk piano oriented music and also some jazz. The current classical piano releases are in collaboration with the Epidemic Sound label and many of them were picked for several Spotify`s editorial playlists. The Single `It`s an Upright Thing` ended up on BBC murder mystery series `Magpie Murders` and the title track from the album `Sun of June` is one oft he best jazz songs of 2022 according to the Spotify editorial team. The album `The Sorrow it Shows` is Rikard`s first vocal album and gained immediate editorial love. New collabs with `xander.` were coming during 2024. Besides his solo performances Rikard still plays in his band Band `FROM`, winner of the Swedish Blus Challenge 2022. In May 2025 he released his first nine-minute single `For Ever So Long` on the new German label `Klangspot Nu Jazzical`. They got in touch because Rikard covered the song `Saw It On The Radio` for the album `De-Phazz presents Octaves`, which will be released in October 2025. Over the years Rikard has achieved the incredible number of over 60 million streams on Spotify and Apple with his music, as well as 130 million clicks on YouTube.
