As Zuza likes to say:
«My music is a creature – a shifting form full of thoughts and emotions. Pop? Jazz? Folklore? It has all in it. Because the music is me. I’m based in all of these genre’s. Came from 2000 pop scene into jazz to work on my vocal skills then went back to RnB with some soul music in it, to finally discover the folklore side of me. Through all this, I found myself.»
Born into a Polish family, raised in city Torun, now based in Berlin – Zuza. Known for her a versatile voice. Since a little girl, she always stood up to her stylistic decisions. With this weird mixture of confidence and fear of being judged, she moved to Berlin in 2018 to study jazz vocals at the Jazz Institute. Zuza began slowly to transform from someone who felt like doesn’t belong anywhere into a woman with her own voice and a strong attitude.
I’m currently working on the material for my first EP, «Songs from my living room.».
Folk-pop-jazz and alternative-pop mixed together. An introduction—a poem—is included before each track, asking a question about the world we live in. In today’s world, we are aware of how many of us lose ourselves for time, money, or success.“Songs from my living room“ invites you to my reality, and I want you to take a moment to consider what really matters.
The intelligent creatures that we are inside, will have the opportunity to have a honest and fun conversation in this living room together. Let you be the real you.
