Swedish-Norwegian drummer Anton Eger returns to Berlin’s A-Trane for a five-night residency filled with explosive energy, bold grooves, and genre-blurring improvisation.
Well known to Berlin audiences through his work with Phronesis, JazzKamikaze, HEL Trio, Æ and long-time collaborator Marius Neset, Eger has built a reputation across Europe for his fearless fusion of jazz, rock, electronics, and pure rhythmic invention. His drumming is both precise and wild — always pushing the music somewhere unexpected.
Winner of Best Jazz Musician at the Danish Music Awards and a recipient of a Danish Arts Foundation grant for his acclaimed debut album Æ, Anton Eger is one of Europe’s most inventive and in-demand drummers.
For this residency, Eger brings together a fresh and rotating lineup of handpicked musicians from across the European scene. Each night will be unique, built on deep interplay, high-energy spontaneity, and the thrill of musical risk-taking.

For the grand finale of Anton Eger’s five-night residency at A-Trane, the stage is taken over by RKDIA – the explosive Scandinavian power duo of Morten Schantz and Anton Eger.
Known for their fearless energy and genre-defying sound, RKDIA brings together two long-time collaborators whose roots trace back to the trailblazing band JazzKamikaze. With over a thousand shows together across the globe, their interplay is razor-sharp, wildly dynamic, and full of joyful chaos.
In 2021, they released their debut album Into RKDIA and have since toured across Scandinavia, Germany, Austria, France, England, Zanzibar, South Korea, China, Hong Kong, and Thailand – and now it’s finally Berlin´s turn.
RKDIA describes their sound as broken disco – an explosive blend of crooked beats, stadium anthem hooks, and electronic euphoria. It’s music that gets your pulse racing and your imagination firing.
