Petter Bergander Trio from Stockholm will present a fascinating performance that skilfully juggles jazz, pop and Scandinavian folklore, they released their first album „The Grand Dance“ in 2015 and have since then been touring both Sweden and Europe. Petter and Ikiz have also played together for ten years with Nils Landgren Funk Unit. Eva Kruse, who plays double bass, joined the band in 2016 and in 2019 they released the record ”Kierkegaard’s Waltz”.

On the album Watershed, which came out 2024, jazz is mixed with more modern beats and grooves. Improvisation is always at the very center. The songs and the melodies greet all kind of musiclovers and jazzlovers.

«We want to give people a crazy, exciting experience of life and zest for life. ”Watershed” is an album sprung from a troubled world and time. When I wrote the songs, I thought about events in life that can threaten to cut divides between friends or in the family, and conflicts within ourselves. The music became a way to regain the joy and the art.»
