The British Soul Invasion comes together when Sam Leigh-Brown and Katarina Holmberg meet the legendary Detroit Gary Wiggins Band. Detroit Gary Wiggins, Berlin’s «Bird of Paradise» of Blues and Jazz, spent his early years touring the USA with R&B Bands from Detroit. He later moved to Chicago, playing with Blues Legends like Lefty Dizz, Sunnyland Slim, Sugar Blue, Aron Burton, Angela Brown, and Johnny Littlejohn. Katarina, singer, songwriter, producer and label owner, grew up in Helsinki, Brighton and Berlin. Her one-of-a-kind soul and jazz style snatches the hearts of the audience and gets the blood pumping to her soul and dance vibes. Sam grew up in Manchester, UK and has years of experience with countless bands, guest appearances, studio and theater work. Leigh-Brown’s signature sound is warm, passionate, smoky old-school Jazz and Soul.These two amazing and versatile singers exude cheeky British charm with well known soul-crackers and original compositions.
