Tolyqyn consists of Roland Satterwhite (voice, plucked viola), jazz guitar «wonder-kid» Tal Arditi and jazz/prog rock drummer Kuba Gudz.Over the last two years, the Berlin based trio has conducted intrepid sonic explorations across rock, AfroCuban rhythms, West African kora music, high life groove, folk, funk, the American Protest Song, techno and even traversed as far as the Maghreb and Morocco.The trio has quickly gained a reputation as one of Berlin’s best live acts and has been
invited back to stages across Berlin, Germany, England and Switzerland. Their eponymous debut Album has been released
on Vinyl and digitally on 24 April 2020. The Album has been Album Of The Week on the German Radio SWR2, had an
extensive presentation on Radio Eins, and gained critical acclaim among music blogs and magazines.
