On these evenings, the band will be performing JC’s original compositions as well as his favorite R&B/ Soul songs featuring Desney Bailey.

Desney Bailey is a highly regarded vocalist, who has gained recognition for her talents in Jazz, Neo Soul, and House music. Her music has traveled far and wide, with her songs being played across Europe, the USA, South Africa, and Asia. Collaborating with renowned artists like Jazzanova, Slope, AtJazz, and Oliver Marquardt aka DJ Jauche, she has built an impressive discography that includes releases on top-tier labels including Sonar Kollektiv, Royal Flame Music, Flaneur Recordings, Do it Now Records, King Street Records and Luxury House, among others..Desney Bailey is a versatile performer who is equally comfortable performing live with her four piece band or joining DJs for an electrifying session. Her dynamic stage presence and infectious energy make her a crowd favorite, and she has a talent for connecting with audiences of all sizes. Whether she’s performing in a small intimate setting or on a large festival stage, Desney Bailey always delivers a memorable performance that leaves her fans wanting more.Bailey’s soulful vocals are the centerpiece of the latest release, with Croatian DJ, Andrej Laseech, ‚Hey Love‘ out now, on Forbidden Dance Records, and her contributions have been instrumental in creating a timeless masterpiece. The music captures the essence of her artistry and has earned her a well-deserved place in the hearts of music lovers worldwide.

Der New Yorker Gitarrist JC DOOK hat bereits 10 Jahre Erfahrung in der hart umkämpften Bluesszene gesammelt. Er spielte schon mit der New Orleans Legende Earl King, den Holmes Brothers sowie auch Ben E. King. Auch als Vorgruppe für Johnny Copeland, Walter» Wolfman «Washington und Little Feet trat er auf. Seine musikalische Vielschichtigkeit ermöglichte ihm gemeinsame Auftritte mit Harry Belafonte, Manu Dibango und Cassandra Wilson. Für Ester Marrow & The Harlem Gospel Singers fungierte er fünf Jahre lang als Gittarist, Arrangeur und musikalischer Leiter. JC Dook begleitete als Gitarrist zuletzt den Bassisten und Sänger Richard Bona auf seiner Welttournee.
Vielschichtig und multikulturell, so beschreibt man am besten den Gitarristen, Komponisten und Arrangeur J.C. Doo-Kingué. JC hat die meiste Zeit seines Lebens in New York verbracht. Hervorragende musikalische Kenntnisse ermöglichen es ihm, sich überzeugend und einfühlend in verschiedenen Musikrichtungen zu bewegen, ohne seine eigene musikalische Note zu verlieren. Seit 2000 lebt JC in Deutschland. Als ersten Grundstein für seine weitere musikalische Karriere in Deutschland gründete er 2001 das Blues-Trio Dook Joint.  Zwar mit dem Blues aufgewachsen und erfolgreich in New York praktiziert, konnte JC mit einem Worldbeat Instrumental Jazz-Album seine ganze musikalische und multikulturelle Bandbreite zur Geltung bringen. JC Dook Band präsentiert sowohl eigene Musikstücke als auch Blues & Soul Standards.
