Paul Desmond, der Saxophonist, der mit seiner Komposition Take Five einen der größten Welthits des Jazz geschaffen hat, wäre 2024 hundert Jahre alt geworden.
Die Band pure desmond nimmt dieses Jubiläum zum Anlass, um das Leben und Werk dieses interessanten und stilvollen Mannes zu würdigen.
In einem unterhaltsamen Konzertabend erzählt sie die Geschichte davon, wie ein Sound die Welt eroberte. Das Programm ist eine Hommage an bedeutende Werke und zeitlose Klassiker dieser goldenen Ära des Cool Jazz.
